The Tormore 1988 32 Years from The Whisky Agency will set you back north of 300 euro. Seeing that Tormore is not exactly an A-list distillery, it's not very surprising that there are still bottles around.
There's a lot to love here. It doesn't have the signature Ben Nevis dirtiness, which to me is always a big plus. What remains is a top notch single malt from a cult distillery.
Listed as a blended malt whisky, this most likely came from Highland Distillers (now part of Edrington), meaning there could very well be Macallan, Glenrothes and Tamdhu in this undisclosed Speysider.
As expected, this is another one of those excellent undisclosed Speysiders. Yes, they cost a lot of money, but are relatively cheap if you're looking to add a quality, well-matured whisky from a bygone era to your collection.
