After this Glenfarclas had spent almost two decades in an ex-bourbon cask, the contents where then transferred to a virgin oak cask. That's almost never a good sign.
I've never been a member of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, as I just never really understood why I should pay for the privilege to buy whisky. That being said, they do release proper whisky!
This being bottling by the SMWS, it has a cutesy name: Harvesting Fruit on an Indian Summer's Day. I guess this means I'm in for a fruity dram, perfect for a summer day. I don't know what is up with the Indian though.
