islay jazz festival

Shortly after the Lagavulin Islay Jazz Festival 2016 was released, I tasted it during the Lagavulin Warehouse Demonstration. I even bought a bottle. However, it took me this long to write a proper review of it. Sorry about that.

Lagavulin seems to do well at any age. There's the wonderful Lagavulin 8 Years Old as an example of what impact young distillate can have, but also many examples of well-aged Lagavulin that reach stratospheric heights.
