Glenfarclas teamed up with The Whisky Exchange for two high strength releases: a 15-year-old bottled at 100 Proof and a 21-year-old bottled at 95 proof.
Glenfarclas isn't too keen on independent bottlers using their name, so the bottlers find creative ways at suggesting the contents of a particular bottling without upsetting the Grant family. Blairfindy is what Blackadder settled on.
Did I mention that I went to the Spirit of Speyside Festival this year? Yeah, I think I did! While there, I also picked up a bottle of the Distillery Exclusive that Glenfarclas released for the festival.
