Probably won't be long now before I make my return to Edradour. For now, I'll settle for a liquid taste of the distillery, in the form of a cask strength, bourbon matured version.
When nosing and tasting this whisky, I was transported back to a great sherried Port Charlotte that I had reviewed last year. This Ballechin is a triumph for Edradour.
"What?! Just a couple of days ago this guy whined about how terrible his visit to Edradour was and now he's posting a review of a whisky from that distillery? I'm not sure what to make of this."
Edradour and I. The two of us have a love-hate relationship. There was a point in time when it was only love. That changed when I actually visited the distillery.
