One of the most elusive Scotch whiskies, Brora has gained a cult status only after it was closed in 1983. Today I try a single cask bottling from Signatory Vintage.
A very bourbon-esque Glen Keith 1992 from Archives. The heavy cask influence overshadows some of the fruitiness that other expressions from this period display.
Everyone at the top of the leaderboard is sort of quietly chugging along, picking up a few points left and right. I'm kind of waiting for someone to explode and taking a more commanding lead.
Great distillate driven Glen Keith by Whisky-Fässle. I love the fruitiness, but it has even more to offer than simply being a very fruity whisky. Wonderful!
This Bunnahabhain 1988 from Berry's is not too dissimilar from the Bunnahabhain 2003 PX Finish, which was a little over the top if you ask me. The same can be said for this bottling.
