Distilled before the new owners took over Bruichladdich at the start of this millennium, this is a unique whisky isn't very accessible. But if you give it a chance, you're probably in for a pleasant surprise.

I've never been a member of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, as I just never really understood why I should pay for the privilege to buy whisky. That being said, they do release proper whisky!
