A hugely impressive rye whisky from Finnish distillers Kyrö, bottled in the Nordic Casks series of Berry Bros & Rudd. This should convert any rye whisky sceptic.
A little over a year ago I dismissed Bimber as just another expensive upstart whisky, but I'm glad I gave them a second chance. The new Re-Charred Oak Casks, their second ever release, reaffirms their reputation as a distillery to watch.
