Today I realised my lowest score so far. There’s one consolation though: the Dailuaine 1998 15 Years for Whisky in Leiden is fantastic.

This is only the second set of releases from the independent label of The Whisky Exchange — a Ledaig 2004, Glenburgie 1998 and heavily-sherried Laphroaig 1998.
Arran 1998 20 Years Old (Whiskybroker.co.uk)
Rather a good, well-matured Arran that was an absolute steal at its original price.
Secret Orkney 1998 21 Years (Whiskybase)
Bottled by Whiskybase to celebrate the 130.000th entry in their database, this Secret Orkney was distilled at Highland Park, obviously.
Glenburgie 1998 20 Years Old (Gordon & MacPhail)
One of the better Glenburgies I’ve had the pleasure of tasting so far, courtesy of Gordon & MacPhail.
Aberfeldy 20 Years Old Exceptional Cask Series (2019)
Supremely balanced and rich, yet fresh. It’s been a long time since I’ve nosed a whisky bottled at 43 percent as expressive as this Aberfeldy.
