You almost can’t go wrong with a single cask Glendronach right? One is better than the other, but almost all of ’em are good. The people over at The Whisky Exchange have picked a cask to be exclusively bottled for them. It’s from 1995 actually, a vintage we’re seeing more and more, now that the well with 1993’s and 1994’s seems to be drying up.
Glendronach 1995/2015 (55,4%, OB for The Whisky Exchange, C#4028)

Taste: Thick and juicy, very rich. Yeah, it tastes better than it smells actually. A rum-like sweetness, with raisins and plums, but also spicy black pepper and nutmeg. Some red wine vinegar.
Finish: Vinegar, juicy cherries. Thick and rich. Long…
Rating: 88
The longer I had this in the glass, the more I liked it. Some water helps too. A very good single cask from Glendronach, but we’re used to that by now 🙂
